Rebecca is the owner and founder of Syncopate. She has been planning events professionally for close to 30 years. In college she caught the planner bug as a student event coordinator and never looked back. She studied vocal performance and pedagogy at BYU and Utah State University. If you’re nice, she might sing for you! Her experience planning conferences for organizations led her to Georgetown, where she completed programs in strategic planning and organizational leadership.

Kelly has worked with Syncopate since 2009, when she and Rebecca met in Northern Virginia. Since that time, she has kept the ‘satellite’ offices of Syncopate open as she’s moved around the world from Greece to Australia, Atlanta to Salt Lake. Kelly’s specialty lies in the customer service. As a 14 year Delta Airlines employee, she learned a thing or two about keeping people happy!

Gene and Rebecca met while studying music at Utah State University many (MANY) years ago. They have a sort of shorthand that comes only from working closely together for so many years. As one client put it “Gene has a very gentle way about him that lets him guide the exhibitors through difficult setups or challenging circumstances with the absolute minimum of hassle. His ability to calm even the most frustrated customer is superb.” We couldn’t agree more!

Mindy keeps everyone together and on task. At Syncopate, she does a little bit of everything! Mindy has lived all over the world, most recently in South Africa. Her adaptability and easy demeanor makes her perfect for onsite work and her impeccable organization makes her irreplaceable in the office. Mindy’s our newest employee and we’re so happy to have her! She lives in Ashburn, VA with her husband and 5 children.
